Adult Book Discussion Group:
~ Provides a great way for book lovers to read and interact with other readers.
~ Meets monthly in the library’s board room, on the lower level.
~ Is open to anyone who enjoys reading.
~ Provides stimulating conversation.
~ Exposes readers to new ideas and differing viewpoints.
The book club discussion is moderated by Sandra Famuliner, who volunteers for the library in this position. She also leads the selection of the next month’s book which is voted on by its members. The selections are varying in genre from month to month and provided by the Carrollton Public Library through the consortium libraries of Missouri Evergreen. There is no cost to become a book club member and those who enjoy a great discussion based on a book are welcome to join. Book club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Library’s Board Room.
