Library Update- May 1

The Carrollton Public Library staff will report to work on May 4th to be trained on proper usage of PPE and safety protocols that will be followed. This will give library staff two weeks to be prepared to resume No Contact Services on May 18th, sanitize and prepare the library for social distancing, and get the staff back in the groove of a schedule.

The No Contact (or curbside) Service will begin on May 18th although the physical library building will remain closed to the public. Patrons are encouraged to contact the library to request books and materials through phone calls, texts, the library’s website, social media through FaceBook messenger, or emailing the patron@carrolltonlibrary.com account.

The Carrollton Public Library Board will meet on May 26th to further determine the next phase in re-opening.

We are cautiously moving forward with our plan of action to best serve our community. Safety and concern for our patrons and library staff remain the utmost consideration.

Be well friends, we sure do MISS YOU!
